RotaryGympie logoSince 1905, Rotary has been making a positive impact in the world. Beginning in Chicago before spreading throughout the world, Rotary first touched our shores in Australia in 1921, with the charter of the Rotary Club of Melbourne, closely followed by the charter of a Sydney Club and other Clubs around the nation.

Since that time Rotary has grown all over Australia, and no matter where you are, you'll find a Club near you that has contributed to some amazing things. Rotary is a worldwide organisation of business, professional and community leaders. Clubs are non-political, non-religious and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. Richly rewarding, Rotary International gives you the opportunity to 'pay it forward' and to have a positive impact wherever you choose.

The Rotary Club of Gympie Cooloola is a proud member of the worldwide Rotary family and members take pride in providing a service to our Gympie Region community and focusing on the Rotary philosophy of 'Service Above Self'.

Logo.FreemasonsQueenslandFreemasons are a diverse group of men from all walks of life, all religions and all backgrounds.  Becoming a Freemason is a commitment to developing your own potential, to holding values which see all mankind as equals and to helping others in our community.

The history of Freemasonry in Gympie stretches back to 1879, during the days of the Goldrush.   Currently there are 5 Lodges meeting in our Centre in Channon Street and the Gympie District comprises of these plus Kilkivan Lodge which meets in Goomeri and Telford in Imbil.  In addition to supporting charitable ventures in their respective areas, all 7 Lodges combine in fundraising ventures in support of causes both in the Gympie District and Statewide, such as Bushfire and Drought relief.

Gympie and District Freemasons are proud supporters of the Work of Gympie Medical Transport.

lions logoLions Clubs are part of community life, in the cities and in the country. Clubs are easily identified by their distinctive Logo, the trademark of our International Association, and the 'We Serve’, motto.

Lions Australia is part of an international association, filled with people who are joined by the common desire to make their communities better, by using their creativity, enthusiasm, and energy.

Our 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.

Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide.
