April 2022 Newsletter

Welcome to the April 2022 Newsletter. The year is certainly flying by. It has been a very busy start to the year with COVID still rearing it’s ugly head. On top of that we as a community and our organisation have endured a flood and one of our cars was involved in an accident.

  • We moved into a temporary office in Mellor Street.

  • Car 1 was rear ended in Brisbane. No one was injured fortunately.
  • Donation of a replacement vehicle.
  • Next project – cars with their sponsorship logos. And a special event.

Welcome to the December 2021 Newsletter. The year has certainly flown by. I have no doubt one of the reasons is because our GMT office is seeing a marked increase in demand for services provided. We are now fully operational from 39 Monkland Street, and our service to the community has steadily increased. On Wednesday 23 March, the new Gympie Medical Transport office was officially opened by Glen Hartwig Mayor of Gympie. The opening ceremony commenced at 4.00 p.m. with Welcome to Country by Gubbi Gubbi Elder Auntie Lillian. Invited guests were able to view the building and one of the client transport cars. At the conclusion of the official opening, invited guests were able to view the offices and enjoyed some light refreshments.
