Anywhere from Hervey Bay to Brisbane and all points in between. Major areas are expected to be Brisbane Hospitals, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Buderim Private Hospital, Noosa Private Hospital, Nambour Hospital, and Medical Centres and Specialists in those areas.

For Pick-ups we plan, eventually, to cover the whole of the Gympie Regional Council area (excluding Tin Can Bay, Cooloola Cove and Rainbow Beach), however, this will require us to locate cars and have volunteer Drivers and garaging situated in regional areas such as Goomeri, Kilkivan, Mary Valley etc., and this will take time to fund the cars and recruit the volunteers and we ask for patience from our Regional clients.

Generally NO. There are already services in existence for local trips; these include the local Taxi services and the Community Bus. In addition, many care providers can handle local trip needs. Our licencing restrictions do not allow us to service local trips.

We are able to transport clients into town from outlying districts and a fee is applicable which does not qualify for reimbursement by the PTSS scheme.

Yes. we can accommodate your collapsible Wheelie walker in our cars. Please inform our Office Staff when booking.

We will not be providing such specialised transport vehicles able to safely handle clients in Wheelchairs. If you only need a Wheelchair, simply to get to and from the vehicle to your home or the medical facility, then we will be able to cater to that need with our own collapsible wheelchair as long as you can stand up to transfer from the chair to car and vice versa.

Yes. We will work to keep our fees to a minimum by utilising only Volunteers to deliver our services, however, the capital costs for vehicles and operational costs such as Insurances, Fuel and Maintenance need to be recovered and these are passed on by way of an administration fee.

Depending upon your individual circumstances you may be eligible for Patient Travel Subsidy rebates (see left panel for details), and if so these rebates will offset a considerable part of the fees charged.

Our Booking office hours will be 8.30am to 12.30pm, and clients can call in during these hours to discuss their needs or can phone and talk to our volunteers during these hours. We are not an Emergency Transport service; However, we will have an out-of-hours contact number for those times that unexpected changes occur to your planned trips.
